«Galleri Oslo» has often been called Norway’s ugliest building, and its demolition remains an ongoing debate. The 400‑meter‑long building from the late 1980s was designed when car traffic shaped city planning. Today it seems to shield Oslo's district Grønland from investor architecture and high‑rise development right behind it.
